| A Little Bit About Us and Our Jams Yes, there really is a Julieann. Tony and Julieann Schedeen have been growing berries in the Cascade foothills since 1977. Our jams and syrups are made with the finest hand-picked fruit using a recipe that is lower in sugar to allow all of the fresh flavor of the berries to shine through. Many of the varieties we grow are familiar to most people, including Marionberries, Boysenberries, Strawberries, Loganberries and Raspberries. But we also grow some unusual berries. Olallieberries were bred here in Oregon in 1950 from a cross of Black Loganberries and Youngberries. Tayberries originated in Scotland as a cross between Aurora (a cross of Loganberries and Austin Thornless) and Raspberries. We think these are some of the finest jams you will ever try. And no, Julieann doesn’t really ride a flying rabbit, but she’d like to. |
